Angela

Lovely visit to the garden today. Autumn is on the way.

Jacqui

Once again photographs of a few plants in flower in our garden at the moment.

The entrance to the garden through a Cotoneaster arch, covered in red berries.

The dahlias are continuing to flower really well and adding lots of colour.

Adding a little colour in a darker corner, Japanese Anemones.

The edge of the rose garden with the Miscanthus just starting to flower.

A little clump of Colchicum, autumn crocus, just catching the sun.

Finally, it looks as if we may have a nice crop of apples. Hope the weather holds.

Margaret

Not much happening in my garden today so the wood pigeons are enjoying an afternoon siesta.

Richard

It was great to be able to visit the garden again last Friday after 6 months absence. It was both peaceful and colourful with some autumn colours beginning to appear.

Here are a few photos.

Ruth

I visited the garden recently and took this photo.

Fred

A few shots taken on Friday morning…never seen anything quite like it.

Cobwebs everywhere. On the plants, the bird table, trellis, baskets...even cobwebs on cobwebs.

All gone within the hour.

Alex

Here are three pictures I took in the garden earlier this week. The garden was very quiet and it was lovely to catch up with Mike and his team.

The first two are of the wildflower meadow just outside the greenhouses.

The last, not so picturesque, is a couple of Monada / Bee balm plants that the Volunteers grew and planted out last year near the bee hive.

Photos taken at the newly reopened Botanic Garden.
