A very late amaryllis but worth waiting for. It has six beautiful flowers.

24th April was National Trust Blossom Watch Day. And so, to celebrate, I attach a few photos.

The large white bush is a gorgeous Amelanchier in our next door's garden.

Then there is a Chaenomeles (Flowering Quince) with red flowers impervious to anything the frost can throw at it.

And finally a sad Camellia which has suffered from the frost.
