Mike's Blog - Day 104

Lovely Rhododendron today down by the bird hide. It's one of the very old ones planted around the monkey puzzle perhaps at least 100 years ago so we have no idea of its name, if it has one.

And here in close-up.

The new bamboo (now its day 2) in the tropical house seems to have hardly moved. Perhaps it’s just taking aim today for the roof.

The last rogue sheep to be sheared wandered into the catching area today so Claire and I got it done.

I’m off tomorrow and the next few days so hopefully Bill will see the note to take a picture of the bamboo and forward it to me to send on to you.

Fingers crossed I can still send out the emails off my phone!
