Another toxic one today, castor oil plant, Ricinus sp.

It's the beans that are toxic but we remove the flowers.

It's a very common plant used in summer bedding schemes. This is the strain with plum coloured leaves, "New Zealand purple". It gives a hot tropical feel, unlike the weather.
