Mike's Blog - Day 151

Another plant from New Zealand today, The Daisy Bush, Olearia x haastii.

Here is a close-up.

And this pic is even closer!

It would be happier in a sunnier spot I think but its being shaded out these days by a huge Oak tree.

They make good hedges apparently, and are particularly good in coastal locations.

Next to it is a smaller version of the more common, larger, New Zealand flax (Phormium tenax). This is Phormium cookianum, the Mountain flax.
