Mike's Blog - Day 174

Peter got a good picture of a small tortoiseshell butterfly last week. It decided the climate was much better in the greenhouse and it was exploring in there. Similar to the peacock butterfly in that its caterpillar feeds on nettles, but it won’t be doing any egg laying until next May or July.

Something to brighten up yet another cool and wet day, but the forecast is looking good for the rest of the week.
