Mike's Blog - Day 243

For Lumiere we needed to widen the path at the greenhouse, so last year we did not plant the tulips until after Lumiere. We levelled and covered the bed with matting then covered the path and bed in leaves and edged it with birch. Visitors had no idea they were standing in the middle of our tulip bed!

This installation projected colourful silhouettes of various bird cages which slowly rotated. It was very effective.
