Mike's Blog - Day 245

Our final Lumiere blog today.

Firstly “the feathers”. These illuminated, fast-spinning feathers were mesmerising. As their speed changed so did their shape and in the pitch black it looked like they were hovering in the air.

Then a selection of trees and other pictures. It really was an excellent event.

These images give a taste of the event, but the thing missing is the noise. Sound was a big part of Lumiere in the garden. The woodland garden sounded full of cuckoos and warbling birds flew over your head in the arboretum. I’ve managed, (I think!) to upload the metal origami birds that were on the Oriental lawn, and you can hear the crows on the picnic table next to the Zelkova tree.
