Continuing the Christmas theme of blogs, some Turkey for you today, sort of anyway.
A turkey at the bird hide, but not the feathered type. Turkeytail bracket fungus, Trametes versicolor.

This hard little bracket fungus is very common and you can find it most of the year round as its keeps growing slowly. The outer growing edge is the lighter colour.

It looks like there are a lot more to come, so we will need to replace the hazel handrail at some point.
