Mike's Blog - Day 89

The rain has stopped at last.

The woodland garden Gunnera seems to have enjoyed it. It’s grown to over 10ft tall now, not bad going since Days 35 and 41 when the frost caught it. A bit of heat and it will be well away.

I was surprised how well a blue Meconopsis has stood up to the rain.

And in close-up.

The rabbits don’t seem to like these. Perhaps it’s the fine hairs on the stem and leaves. The seed pods are still there too, usually these are taken by visitors…
