Talks
This year, the talks on offer are:
- January 15th: Peter Thomson (Garden Manager) – “Garden Highlights in 2024”
- February 19th: Ian Armstrong (University Bio Diversity Manager) – “A Land of Wooded Vales and Limestone Hills”
- March 19th: Charlotte Roberts – “Can the dead tell us anything: some stories from our ancestors' bones“
- April 16th: Emily Routledge (Durham Wildlife Trust) – “Wildlife in County Durham”
- May 21st: Prof. Mike Church - "Experimental archeology in the Botanic Garden"
- September 17th: Lisa Kaimenas (Beamish Museum) - “The Making and Remaking of Beamish Museum”
- October 15th: Lydia Cave – History of the creation of RSPB Saltholme, and challenges facing Saltholme, and birds in the natural world.”
All talks, unless otherwise stated, are in the Botanic Garden
Visitor Centre starting at 7.30pm. Refreshments are
available.
