Durham University Botanic Garden has so much to offer including a tropical house, a cactus house, beautiful woodland, a wildflower meadow, an arboretum, and an alpine garden. It also has a visitor centre, a coffee shop and free parking, all close to the centre of Durham. Becoming a Friend is a great way to support the Garden and the money raised helps fund a wide variety of interesting and exciting projects. In return, Friends enjoy many activities including social events, talks, organised trips and visits, guided garden walks, and plant sales. There is also the opportunity to volunteer and, of course, the benefit of free entry all year round. We currently have over 600 members and would love you to join us.
